The Empire Mine State Park is
located in Grass Valley. It is open to the public. One of the
richest mines in the Northern Diggins, Empire Mine remained active until recent times.
The park
is beautifully maintained and the Mine and Bourne Mansion are a part
of our history we would not want you to miss. Plan a day & visit Empire Mine
and then go on & visit the North Star Mine also in Grass Valley.
